Radio Ballroom

Radio Ballroom, a collaboration with Eleanor King, was a curatorial project that asked artists to consider radio as a medium for making art. We invited artists to be inspired by conventions commonly used in commercial broadcasting.  Weekly low-power FM radio broadcasts were produced from a kitchen in North End Halifax and occasionally on location around the city.  An essay about Radio Ballroom appears in Islands of Resistance: Pirate Radio in Canada
